Hurricane Katrina Restoration Project

Jesuit High School sustained catastrophic damage from Hurricane Katrina and the great flood of 2005.  Jesuit must rebuild the entire first floor of the school along with much of the physical education building.  Jesuit faces a daunting financial challenge associated with our reconstruction, yet we remain more determined and hopeful than ever of successfully reaching out to our loyal alumni, parents, and friends.

Jesuit has served as an anchor for the Mid-City neighborhood, as an anchor for the New Orleans metropolitan region, and as an anchor in the lives of its students, parents, and alumni.  Jesuit’s mission is to develop in its students the competence, conscience, and compassion that will enable them to be men of faith and men for others.   In times of adversity, we ask that our students show courage and be resilient.  Jesuit is now asking you to do the same – step up and make a commitment.

Help restore Jesuit.  Help us rebuild.  Keep the anchor in place for future Blue Jays.
